Seasoned by 14 years of live performances at festivals, wineries, showcases, house concerts, clubs, and more, Satori Bob features tight arrangements, impeccable and passionate performances, and a loyal and growing following. Satori Bob’s fifth album is due for release in Spring 2023, following the popular EP String Theory. Singer/songwriter and guitarist John Baumann’s well-crafted songs are complemented by the harmony vocals and stellar playing of cellist Kathryn Brunhaver, the rhythmic counterpoint of banjo/percussionist Devin Newman, the melodic violin of Della Natasha Davies, and the rock-solid and inventive bass of Joe Hughes. Satori Bob creates soundscapes both rich and moving, drawing the listener into the compositions with energetic rhythms and deep storytelling, open stark ballads and gorgeous instrumental interplay, all serving as the foundation for well-written strongly lyrical compositions.
